TJ Hughes returns to Blackpool

TJ Hughes have almost completed their six-figure makeover of the former Woolworths store based on Bank Hey Street.

The opening of this store will not only boost visitors into the town centre but also aims to bring an employment boost into Blackpool by creating 100 new jobs.

Shopfitters moved into the store after its announcement in January and have worked around the clock to ensure it will open by March 17th in time for the Easter holidays.

Blackpool awarded North West's town of the year 2010

Blackpool triumphantly beat off competition from cities such as Manchester and Liverpool to win the North West Property awards 2010 Town/City of the year award.

The awards which took place at Manchester Central were attended by over 600 people and rewarded outstanding performance by individuals, teams and projects that have excelled in the North West region during the past 12 months.
